Aston Martin DBR2 recreation sells at Silverstone Classic

We are able to report that one of our DBR recreations achieved an excellent result at Bonhams recent auction during the Silverstone Classic weekend.



The car in question was built around a late ARA Racing chassis and incorporated Aston engine and gearbox as well as some bespoke replica parts.

The auctioneers gavel dropped at a price of £140100.




The body was hand formed by one of our suppliers using the GRP shape as a pattern.


The car was finshed in Aston Sage green with our replica weave fabric interior and a crackle finish dashboard.
